What looks like a relatively simple shot Sherbini plays here has a lot of subtlety and nuance. The way she is able to go in very neutral to the front is key and this is what draws her opponent up towards the front of the court, she is showing the short ball. But then quite late she is able to accelerate her wrist, use her body weight and throw her follow-through out across her body to send the ball long. A really damaging and effective way to get some work into your opponent's legs showing a lot of options at the front of the court.
