A classic bit of high skill deception from Gawad in that front backhand corner. The way he is able to go in really powerfully and really aggressively and then really stop the ball is something to be admired. He uses his back leg slide to absorb a lot of the shot and slow it down but it's the way he uses the strings, cuts across the ball and really slows it down what is to be admired. Really soft hands at the end part of his swing also really helps.
