A perfect backhand volley length that fades really well and dies in the back. He just holds the ball slightly longer to allow his opponent to come up and around him and from here he then opens up the racket face, cuts and fades the ball and lands it in the middle of the service box so it has no chance of letting his opponent back in the rally. Notice also how he stops and checks his follow through to make this happen.
