We see Nick Matthew here executing a perfect lob from the front forehand. You will notice he does not have a long or big follow-through on this shot and merely uses his wrist to flick the ball upwards getting a lot of elevation on the ball, lifting it over his opponent's head, and then dropping like a stone in the back corner. A big myth with the lob under pressure is to use a follow-through but this is often not the case when there is little time to execute
