It’s a highly unconventional shot but works brilliantly, the key to its success is the open racket face and Tinne’s ability to put cut and spin on the shot and make the ball fade away and bounce twice before the side wall.

You’ll also note that there is literally no follow-through but she has managed to generate enough racket speed on the downswing for the shot to be successful.
