Sherbini uses this backhand stun ball from the 3/4 length to great effectiveness. The ball sits up slightly for her and she is able to hit downwards and around the side of the ball sending it in short to that awkward area of the court for her opponent. Her set-up is threatening and she keeps the racket face very open to allow for a margin of error. She follows through downwards and aims to land the ball a few inches above the tin and then hitting the floorboards so it runs tight and is a challenge for her opponent.
