Start to think about the next time you play a straight drop to see it more as a working shot rather than a winner.

Get the ball glued to the sidewall and really focus on expecting your opponent to get the ball back. If you expect them to get the ball back you'll be ready to hunt the follow-up shot. This will also take pressure off playing a perfect drop shot.
