To be able to take up a strong T position and limit his opponent's options, Asal performs a really good open stance drive on the backhand. Not an easy shot but he makes it look effortless. He’s able to get great spacing and distance with his lunge and reach of his arm, to cock his wrist slightly, and to get the ball tight and past his opponent. From here, he takes up a strong and dominating T position to volley the next shot.
